  • A spoon for mixing
  • A container for your lip balm
  • A microwave-safe bowl/ Double boiler

How to make lip balm using coconut oil: Instructions:-

Step 1: Melt Down Your Beeswax Pellets

If the beeswax and butters are solid blocks, start by chopping or grating them into smaller chips. Then, place them in a microwave-safe bowl and melt them for 30 to 40 seconds. 

Be sure to stir your solution after every 15 seconds. Keep stirring until the wax is completely melted.

If you are using a double boiler, be sure to keep an eye on the temperature, so the beeswax doesn’t get too hot.

Once melted, let it cool down a little for a few minutes before moving to the next step.

Step 2: Add Coconut Oil to the Mix

Once everything has settled down, add your coconut oil into the melted wax. If you are using liquid coconut oil, you can easily add it at this point.
